2011 - 2012 Winter Sailing in the South Bay

The winds are definitely lighter this time of year, so those of you who recently got certified, or are looking to get your ASA certification so you can rent boats should be able to log in some practice time on the bay while the conditions are still pretty friendly. Merit 25's are the most popular boat this time of year as they are the lightest boats in the fleet. That and we have ten of them : ) We also are having our winter racing series going on now, so if you are new to the club, this is a perfect time to "get your feet wet" and try racing out before the winds pick up and beercan season sets in.
